Dr. Edie Wadsworth is physician and life coach and is the founder of LIFE MENTORING SCHOOL, one of the fastest growing faith based online coaching memberships and certification programs. She is seeking to grow her multiple seven figure business with integrity and innovation to help as many women as possible step into their God given purpose.

You are perfect for this job if you are an ambitious, fast paced, growth minded marketing genius who keeps up with all the trends and can confidently work side by side with Dr. Edie to blaze a trail in the coaching industry.

You will be responsible for building and executing an innovative marketing strategy that connects with and engages our target audience, increases visibility, creates leads, and drives conversions. You should also be able to use data analytics to track progress on campaigns and come up with strategies for improvement. 

You will be the fearless leader of our product launches and build marketing and social media campaigns that make joining our programs a complete DELIGHT for our ideal clients. Your job is to take this mammoth responsibility off Dr. Edie’s plate so well, that she wishes she’d hired you years ago. 

You will also be the voice and leader of our brand, consistently delivering messages that communicate our purpose and values to create an emotional connection with our target audience.

You will have a deep understanding of how to speak directly to our potential clients with relevant content and messaging across all platforms.

You will know our clients better than they know themselves and you will love them so much that you are constantly thinking of new ways to market and sell them so that they can experience the profound transformation that happens when they join our programs.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Strong project planning and management and project execution: You plan and execute  all promotions and launches and social media campaigns. You are the kind of person who LOVES creating an organized Asana board and can flawlessly execute those plans with detail and proficiency. Our launches are complicated and multilayered and would intimidate the average Jane, but you thrive creating the ASANA board for the upcoming launch. You dream about how to coordinate the email campaign with the social media and podcast efforts.

You surprise and delight the team with your ideas and your ability to execute on time and with flair!  You think of everything and then some!

2. Social Media Strategy & Growth: You focus on creating campaigns that increase followers, engagement, comments, likes, shares, leads, and sales. Social channels include (for now) IG, FB, TikTok, and Youtube. 

You represent the brand flawlessly on each platform, outsourcing some of the work to our social media content creator and graphic designer. You also create graphics, reels and stories yourself, at least 2 weeks in advance for promotional campaigns. You direct and oversee others to help with those campaigns as needed.

3. Leadership and Organization:  You manage your time like a ninja to ensure all the balls in the air stay in the air. Everybody wonders how you do it all, but you know that this is the area where you thrive. This is your sweet spot—your superpowers.

You know this job is not for the faint of heart, and you know it takes someone with your drive and energy to do it well. You’re the kind of person who has an idea for a reel in the middle of the night and by 8am you’ve got it posted. 

You’re a unicorn, but you do your job with humility and make it look fun and effortless. Don’t worry, we see the effort and we reward it! 

The role of a Marketing Manager is a creative one, so it’s crucial that you present yourself as a good communicator. You will report directly to the CEO and portray your vision and ideas to the executive team. You will also be leading and directing the work of others and executing much of the work yourself. You are the epitome of a team player and are NEVER looking to blame someone else for work that didn’t get done. You dig in and figure out how you could have executed or communicated better to get the desired results.

4. Data Analysis & Market Driven : The role calls for continual analysis of market trends and the positioning of competitors. This analysis provides the foundation for marketing strategies. Much of this analysis is done by drilling down into data around customer behavior and experiences, so you need to be up to speed on these techniques.

TASKS & PROJECTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE ROLE:

  • Plan and execute a marketing strategy for the company and for new and existing products or services 
  • Oversee the implementation of the marketing strategy 
  • Oversee and generate copy for all emails, paid traffic, funnels, pages, etc in conjunction with a copywriter and Dr. Edie
  • Become a CRM ninja and schedule and format (and sometimes write) all marketing emails
  • Develop a brand strategy 
  • Guide the day-to-day activities of the marketing team 
  • Continually review changes to the market, consumer trends and the activities of competitors, adjusting the marketing plan if necessary 
  • Oversee and execute the company’s social media presence
  • Strategize new ideas for growth including but not limited to social media, funnels, list building objectives, and report on the effectiveness of organic marketing campaigns using predetermined KPIs (revenue, traffic and conversion) 
  • Manage and maintain relationships with contractors: graphic designers, copywriters and VAs

A DAY IN THE LIFE WOULD TYPICALLY INCLUDE:

Our business currently has 6 launches per year of our two signature programs and you will help create marketing and social media campaigns for each launch and project that helps spike engagement and turns our raving fans into buying customers.

You will:

  • Work ahead of time to create and execute the plan for each of our launches, while keeping our daily content FRESH and ENGAGING across all our platforms
  • Perform analytics and tracking to study our numbers and come up with strategies to improve performance
  • Present relevant analytics to weekly meeting with plan to improve, including KPI’s that ensure our leads are becoming fans and customers
  • Planning and developing marketing strategies and social media campaigns in keeping with ever changing marketing and social media trends
  • Crafting compelling content and scheduling posts across social media accounts, well ahead of time
  • Engaging with customers on different channels in the DM’s and in comments
  • Writing, formatting, and scheduling emails into our CRM and managing the details of tag and segments and other strategic parts of email marketing
  • Use social media marketing tools such as Facebook Creator Studio, VideoAi, Capcut, and other tools to create relevant engaging content
  • Establish relationships with social media influencers to develop a strong network

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

The minimum skills and qualifications required:

  • 2 years experience as marketing manager
  • Experience in creating marketing and  social media strategies
  • Knowledge of best practices for social media platforms such as IG, FB, TikTok, and Youtube. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Visualize and craft engaging content
  • Organized and able to multitask, proficient in online software such as Canva, Asana, etc

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital marketing, internet marketing or related field
  • Certified life coach with excellent mindset skills. You consider yourself to be a lifelong learner
  • Prior experience with copywriting
  • You've worked in the online education space, ideally on course launches
  • You're passionate about marketing entrepreneurship, ie..  you live and breathe this stuff
  • Detail-oriented and good at staying on top of a growing to-do list without overwhelm
  • You have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • You’re a people person and you love supporting others
  • You’re happy doing high-level projects as well as day-to-day administrative work (there will be a mix of both)
  • You’re comfortable working autonomously and making decisions
  • Ready to lead a team while being a team player
  • You have no ego and you’re not scared to dive in and get dirty with some hands-on work
