Today is a special, extra-fun episode because Emme and I are literally twinning (matching sets, matching Uggs… the whole thing). And it felt like the perfect day to talk about a theme that keeps popping up in our lives lately:

“I’m becoming my mother.”

Emme is in her becoming a mother era (baby girl on the way!), and I’m in my becoming a Grammy who knits baby bonnets era… so naturally, this conversation turned into a funny, tender, unexpectedly meaningful reflection on what we inherit, what we emulate, and what we choose to do differently.
